Vibrant new signage has appeared at the entrances to Emu Park delivering the “Reuse Reduce Recycle” message to motorists coming into town, and reminding people of the Emu Park Lions monthly markets. The signage is located adjacent to the Emu Park School and on Pattison Street opposite the RSL village.
You may not have noticed the previous signage in recent times as it was suffering much deterioration becoming cracked and faded after many years making it difficult to read. The new aluminium composite panel signs with extra UV resistant protective coatings applied should prove much more durable.
Emu Park Lions organised the removal, construction and erection of the new signage and they wish to acknowledge and thank the Livingstone Shire Council for funding provided under their Community Grants Scheme for this project.
